Are you interested in partnering with a local organization that helps provide families in crisis hope and safety, while also promoting your talent and art?

The Northwest Arkansas Women’s Shelter, a domestic violence program with a temporary safe shelter, seeks applications from local artists for the “feature artist” role at its 2017 signature fundraising event, Fresh StART.

Used to showcase local talent, Fresh StART is unique in the diversity of art local artists and artisans submit for the silent auction. The selected “Feature Artist” will be given prominent promotion recognition and will be given premier space to display and sell artwork.

The selected feature artist shall donate 1 (one) original piece of art for the silent auction. The minimum bid for the donated piece shall be set for 50% (fifty percent) of the retail value provided by artist.

The selected feature artist shall attend the VIP reception and general event on the evening of the event (October 14, 2017) and shall display a minimum of 10 (ten) additional pieces of art available for attendees to purchase at full price. The artist will retain 80% of all artwork sold at Fresh StART promotional events or the evening of Fresh StART, donating 20% to the Northwest Arkansas Women’s Shelter. It is preferred for the artist to have a point-of-sale system to accept payments.

The Northwest Arkansas Women’s Shelter shall promote selected artist as feature artist in all promotional materials distributed, on its website, through its social media channels, and at the evening’s event.
