What is Domestic Violence?
Domestic violence is the willful intimidation, physical assault, battery, sexual assault, and/or other abusive behavior as part of a systematic pattern of power and control perpetrated by one intimate partner against another. It includes physical violence, sexual violence, psychological violence, and emotional abuse. How Can NWAWS Help Me?
No one ever deserves to experience abuse. No matter what abuse you’ve endured or where you are in your healing journey, we are here for you. We can offer you emergency shelter if you are currently in a dangerous situation and need somewhere safe to go.
